My Daughter: Siti Nur Qaisara

"Blessed by Allah the Almighty God, alas, you were born on the 24th November 2009 at a government hospital. By looking at your face, you teach daddy how to be patient. Teach daddy how to always remember the Allah swt. You came to this world when daddy was engulfed in difficulties, and still. For you, daddy have to be strong my girl. Like the other siblings, you are notably calm, cute and confident."

Prophet Mohamed once said, "the really brave man is not the one who had fought fiercely and achieved excellent victory in the battle of war, but someone who could control his anger." In life, we have to be aware and alerted with people who are really and sincerely patient. Nobly, patience could solve many problems and reducing or eluding additional damages.

In career, usually we are in the right paths, while most of our superiors are in the wrong paths. To prove who are right or wrong, could invite any humanitarian researchers to hypothesize and confirm.

In career and political involvements, people always like to see us be in the wrong paths and principles which they could tolerate. If you really an honest and a principle person you will be end up no where particulalrly in the materialistic environment.

To me, we should virtually respect persons who are knowledgeable, believable, and tawa'qal to Allah. However, some naive who do not know how to respect and appreciate such noble persons. They are wholly materialists. What in their minds are materials and money. To them money could furnish them anything and everything, even happiness! Is this conceptualization true? Let us think

The Regent of Japan even very powerful and rich, could not produce a son to replace him later, except a daughter. If he became a Muslim, surely he could marry another lady in order to have a son. See, how beautiful and perfect Islam is for the followers. But, again the Japanese Constitution would not permit a Muslim to become its Emperor. Why people have to narrow their life? In Islam, there are so many ways to solve the family and social problems. Whatever comes from Allah has its own 'hikmah.' At the moment, the Japanese constitution's makers are trying to amend it, hence a princess could be enthroned as the Japanese Qaisara.

Prince William and Prince Andrew of the Great Britain come from a luxurious family. Just name anything, they could get it. Ironically, to avoid their bored exclusiveness, then they were trying to look for problems, otherwise life are dulled and not creative and innovated to them. Later found that they have involved in free sex and drugs.

Not only them, even some of the Muslim leaders who confesses Allah the Almighty as their God have done the same; especially, leaders from the rich Muslim countries in the Middle East and also South-East Asia. Money makes people forget what actually the functions of humanism, humanity, and humanitarians are. The good values in most of the people life are no more paramount . Social and humanitarian maneuvers are for the non-interest groups and laymen duties and obligations only.

Once a while, comes to my mind, if we do not have any problem, is it okay with us? Hm, do we will be trying to create problems, such as by taking drugs, or get drunk?

Actually, all difficulties and happiness come from Allah. "Sesungguhnya setiap ujian dan kebahagian itu datangnya daripada Allah."

Speaking of Arrogance, Mr. PM

For Kelantan Menteri Besar Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, desperate time calls for desperate measure. He had prayed for Najib's political career and Umno’s future to be destroyed if the federal government refused to pay oil royalty to Kelantan.

Najib responded, “I cannot understand the need for such prayer because we have actually provided a compassionate fund for the people of Kelantan."

“By whatever name it is called, royalty or compassionate fund, the amount is still the same. And it is the people of Kelantan who are getting it; we will not be using it for other purposes.”

Najib clearly cannot differentiate between 'compassionate' and 'royalty'. The former is a voluntary but the latter is compulsory.

His word speaks volume of his deed. His government has a problem to respect and to comply with conventions, agreements, rule of law and the federal constitution.

No, you cannot simply call anything by whatever name. The consequence is crystal clear.

You cannot call us non-bumiputera or 'pendatang' (migrants) when we are really Malaysians.

No, it is not the same.

You cannot equate the BTN courses to your 1Malaysia slogan when these courses are divisive and racist.

You cannot call the sugar coated deals given to Naza and MRCB as privatization when they are clearly crony deals.

You cannot call the PKFZ financial fiasco as cost overrun when it was clearly corruption.

No, they are not the same.

When your government has denied Kelantan and other states' right to share their resources with the federal government, we call it ARROGANCE, ILLEGAL & UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

UMNO LA NI

By: Dr. Mahathir Mohamad

1. Pilihanraya Umum ke-13 hanya dua tahun lagi. Saya sedang meneliti reaksi rakyat terhadap UMNO dibawah pimpinan baru. Saya terkejut. Saya terkejut kerana seorang bekas pemimpin UMNO yang kanan telah meluahkan perasaannya dengan berkata "UMNO is rotten to the core" (UMNO busuk hingga ke ususnya).

When Can the Local Government Election Be Reinstated?

By: Khoo Kay Peng

Before the 308 general election, both PKR and DAP had campaigned on the third vote or the reinstatement of local government elections.

I have a few questions for Pakatan leaders who are now going into the second year of their governance in Penang, Kedah, Selangor and Kelantan. Has the local government election bill been drawn up?

When the local government election bill is is expected to be tabled at the state assemblies for approval? When can the first local government election be held?

I hope this promise will end up like the ones (empty promises) we have seen and heard too often - against the law, hands are tied by the federal government or wait till Pakatan take over the federal government.

Pakatan should not harbor the thought of becoming the next Barisan. We want our two-party system and a healthy and competitive democracy.

It’s Dangerous to be Right, When the Government is Wrong!

http://drdzul.wordpress.com

As if the rots that have plagued the judiciary weren’t enough to erode the confidence of the people towards this critical institution, the de facto Law Minister, DS Nazri Aziz, on Monday, stunned the House when he said that there’s no law to criminalize brokering for judicial appointment. Despite all the hue and cry, VK Lingam is after all going to be scot-free as no crimes were established.

This has surely brought utter disrepute to the already tainted judiciary, now badly in need of a ‘total overhaul’ of its image and integrity. While the claim of an absence of a legislation or an act to ‘illegalize’ and ‘criminalize’ may be unfortunately true, his suggestion that ‘Lingam might have just acted to fix the appointment of judges to impress’ was really a very bad joke. I almost wanted to say that he has turned himself into a clown. But I would reserve it for another day.

But this decision has made a huge mockery of the Royal Commission of Inquiry on VK Lingam’s fiasco. I stood in that august house on that day, to make the minister to commit saying that ‘what may be morally wrong could be legally or politically right’ in this country of ours.

He answered in the affirmative without hesitation. He wanted to lecture us on that. He chose to be oblivious of the saying of Abraham Lincoln and many a great mind on the subject of “Philosophy of Law”, “Moral Foundation of Law” and “Theory of Law” 101.

Admittedly also, the acrimonious debate is a long standing one, from time immemorial. Notwithstanding, the case of Lingam is surely so obviously ‘wrong’ as much as it is ‘immoral’. When an action could not, but be interpreted, as brokering or lobbying for an appointment of the highest position of the office of the judiciary, it indeed is an open assault on the integrity of the judiciary.

And that is almost subversion and ‘treason’ to the state. The entire act of those involved in the Lingam’s case is despicable as it inevitably brings one to the next logical conclusion. If judges’ appointment could be fixed than logically verdicts/judgments of judges could as well be similarly fixed, at a ‘certain price’ of course.

Most atrocious in the Lingam’s case is the fact that, while the ‘brokering’ may be immoral but legal, the latter i.e. writing judgment, while both immoral and illegal, also escaped the long arm of the law. The nation must not take all these assaults lying down. This will be elaborated later.

Nazri had in fact earlier said that further investigations into the Lingam’s case cannot be undertaken by the MACC as the key witness could not be located. The MACC had subsequently classified the case as ‘no further action’ (NFA).

In an effort to counter the various indiscriminate claims of the law minister, the Opposition MPs have brought a key witness sought by the Malaysian Ant-Corruption Commission (MACC) to Parliament yesterday (Tuesday 10). Jayanthi L.G Naidu was Lingam’s former secretary at the time of the royal commission’s probe into Lingam’s alleged involvement in brokering the appointment of judges.

Reading from her written statement, Jayanthi explained that she has been available to assist MACC in their investigations at all times and was very willing to cooperate with the ant-graft body. She was also called in as a witness by the commission to testify about Lingam’s holiday with the former Chief Justice Eusoff Chin to New Zealand.

She had given a full statement in 1998 regarding the trip to the former Anti-Corruption Agency (now MACC). She repeated this at the royal commission’s proceedings. She had told the ACA and the royal commission that Lingam and Chin’s family holiday trip to New Zealand in 1994 was arranged and paid for by Lingam. She stands her ground to date. Kudos Jayanthi! Her safety is now the responsibility of the nation.

However, the commission found that no crime has been committed as both parties had paid for their own respective holidays and that further investigations cannot be undertaken as a key witness could not be located. The rakyat now wishes to know who the person is, as only he or she is capable of putting the case to rest for ever.

But most appalling, the MACC and Nazri had both refused to name the witness that could not be located. If it’s not Jayanthi, they must now name the person as it is critical to safeguard the integrity of the judiciary. Their actions are indeed at best irresponsible and at worst amounting to ‘subverting’ the judiciary. Is that both moral and legal?

Inter alia, Jayanthi also divulged information pertaining judgment delivered by Judge Mokhtar Sidin in the Vincent Tan vs MGG Pillai’s libel case that was written in the office of Lingam. Besides, on various occasions, she confessed having withdrawn large sums of cash between RM100,000 and RM300,000 under Lingam’s instructions which then were wrapped in gift boxes with the understanding that they were to be hand-delivered by others to individual judges.

“On one occasion I saw one of these money boxes being placed with a box containing a cake to be delivered to a judge,” she testified.

Despite the commission’s recommendation to conduct fresh investigations into the Lingam’s case, authorities decided to close two of the investigation documents and another was marked as ‘no further action’.

The Pakatan MPs and the rakyat the nation over, now unequivocally demand that the MACC and the relevant authorities would re-think their position... The buck must stop at the premier. Pak Lah, as a reminder to all and particularly to Najib, has now left a ‘legacy of lost opportunity’.

Najib had equally pronounced high-sounding rhetoric, ever since he took over the premiership in the same tradition of his predecessors. But slogans without substance undermine trust.

This is an opportune time to placate grouses against himself and vindicate his claims of People’s First. If he insists of doing it wrongly again, let him be reprimanded that, (quoting Voltaire),”It’s dangerous to be right, when the government is wrong”!

He shall be duly punished come next 13th GE!

Carly Fiorina CEO Hewlette Packard Perception on Islam - 2001 Speech

Once existed a vast civilization in the world. The civilization spread out from the cold north tills to tropical areas and desert regions. In the empire lived millions of people from various ethnics, races, and religions. One of the languages that dominating the world at that time was also the communication of all the races and citizens in that civilization. The armies formed from various races and citizens. The army protection upheld harmony and blessing that never existed previously.

The trade of this civilization expanded across to countries such as the Latin America, China and provinces between the two vast regions. The civilization had produced many innovations and inventions. Architects of the civilization had erected buildings and able to deny theory of gravity (defied gravity). The mathematicians of the civilization had invented Algebra and Algorithm that enable people today to make computers and produces 'encryption'. The doctors from the civilization were succeeded to find and invent vaccines to various sicknesses.

The astronomists from the civilization had looked at the sky and named the stars and opened knowledge to voyages and exploring the space. The writers of the civilization had composed thousands of stories about fighting and wars, love, and the magician’s world, although the people previously were too scared to talk of such believes and stories. The civilization caused the innovations continuing to propagate. While other races were trying to diminish the olden knowledge, however, the civilization had acted adversely by spreading and expanding the knowledge to all races.

The civilization that the x-CEO pointed out was the Islamic Civilization that enriched from 800 to 1600 AC that engulfed the Ottoman Empire of areas such as Baghdad, Damascus, and Egypt and contribution of the leaders like Suleiman the Great in Turkey.

The westerners should not forget contributions that they get from the civilization which part of their inheritances. Industrial technologies would not exist without contributions from the Arab/Muslim mathematicians. In addition, the civilization’s great leaders taught the people about tolerance and posh civil administration.

What could be learnt from the civilization? It exposed of leadership based on meritocracy rather than inheritance. Then, expanded all the knowledge that the people possessed from multi ethnic and religions consisted of the Christians, the Muslims, and the Jews.

The great inheritances of the leaders were able to contribute of 800 years exploring of new inventions, and developments. After 911 AC the people in the darkness committed to build communities and institutions that to be taken from the Islamic Civilization.

For all of us, at least we could grasp something from the speech, especially to the Muslims who majorities are facing inferiority complex in this challenging ICT - borderless world.

Malaysia is Making Losses Along the Way?

Around 1985 Malaysia incurred loss through x-BBMB for about RM2 billion, and again in 1989 through the same entity for RM1 billion. Again, in 1997 Malaysia made loss of foreign exchange of RM45 billion (on paper?). Perwaja making loss of RM10 billion. Second Penang Bridge the cost has risen to RM4 billion from RM2 billion. PKNZ, the cost of RM2.5 billion has risen to RM12.5 billion, the mother of all scandals!

What is to proud of here? That Malaysia is making losses unnecessarily along the way.

We also hear several structures especially in Trengganu were collapsed recently, and some waiting to collapse(?). At the end no leaders has confessed entail all those. Who will face the burden? Surely the people - the rakyats. Cost of necessities are rising up. And we see all the leaders seem looking nothing to worry of. Always come to my mind all these leaders do not have problems as the rakyats? They do not have to worry because they have sufficient income to live on, compare to the rakyats.

Then we have bought submarines for several billions over ringgit. Do we really need the submarines? The ministry of education through PTPTN is chasing after the students of universities who had completed their studies to repay their loans. Otherwise several blockades will be imposed on them such as prohibited from going overseas. They have to start pay once they got jobs. What types of jobs? That is not the ministry's/PTPTN's business.

Because of CPI being imposed both in private and civil sectors, many employees vis-a vis the bosses are stabbing each other in order to be promoted and get higher perks. Productivity here just a mask or game which is not relevant and transparent enough. Who are ready/can polish the bosses, and be liked by the bosses have bright future. If you are disliked by the bosses, how hard you work to prove those bosses would look by at blind eyes only by them.

The Malaysians are thought to be inhuman. They are taught how to be robots, while humanitarian needs are be kept aside. "Hidup untuk makan!", not to get food to continue alive.
