To me Khairi J. yet not relevant to be an UMNO leader. Although, he is an Oxford graduate, but that acquirement was due to his father once a prominent man and closed to the PM. Not due to merits he actually possessed.
He is far from genius. Further, not born in the eve of Merdeka days. Hence, he less posh experiences. Then, how he declared could be the Malay Champion? A shame of himself! He really an opportunist who practice the end 'justifies the means.'
He is not a good debater and evaluator as he always claimed latetly. To me, he is just a good pretender, who 'acap kali dia tersasau and syok sendiri aja.' I do not understand why the 40% of UMNO youth representatives elected him as their leader (30% each went to Khir Toyo and Mukhriz). If Khir Toyo did not contest, I confidently Muhkriz would win the UMNO youth election. For sure Khairi had earned about 304 votes, but if Khir Toyo did not contest and his votes went to Mukhriz, surely Mukhriz would win as the new Youth Head. The present of Khir Toyo, "kacau daun aja."
Scrutinizing the votes, the main finding is that majority of UMNO youth representative did not voted Khairi J. as the new UMNO Youth Head!
Through experience, 'the faster you go up the faster you will go down as experienced by Khir Toyo himself and few others.' So, be patience on going up the ladder.
